Precision began as a construction consultancy and understands that careful preconstruction planning is the key to efficient, well-run work in the field. Although these critical early steps are often overlooked by other contractors, Precision knows that attention to detail from the beginning of a project is the most cost-effective way to build: It minimizes issues in the field, sets clear expectations with the client, reduces project risks, and ensures an accurate budget and schedule.
Notable projects where Precision was General Contractor include a 125,000-square-foot wine storage and bottling facility in Paso Robles, extensive interior renovations for numerous Southern California Gas facilities, the Calf Barn structure at the historic Pereira Octagon Barn complex in San Luis Obispo, and an interpretive plaza and comfort station in Yosemite National Park. Our standards for safety and quality control are based on the rigorous protocols of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and our exemplary record in quality and safety is testament to meeting or exceeding those demands.
Precision’s dedicated trades group of laborers, carpenters, cement masons, roofers, and equipment operators can self-perform work in the building trades, for both ground-up construction and building improvements. The self-perform group also serves various site trades such as underground utilities and concrete flatwork.
Our self-perform group enhances Precision’s ability to plan projects and control the quality of work, safety, cost, and schedule. During the planning stages of a project, our self-perform group provides input and constructability reviews to aid in the design process. Our hands-on experience helps us understand how design decisions affect the construction process and how early feedback can minimize downstream issues.
