Precision Awarded Ongoing Construction Contracts Across 3 California Counties

Precision is now the recipient of (3) Job Order Contracts (JOC) in Monterey, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara (the Tri-Counties). JOC is defined by the Gordian Group as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction delivery method that allows many projects to be completed through a single, competitively-awarded contract.

Precision was qualified to bid as the general contractor and was successful in providing a competitive bid for each of the JOC opportunities. Using JOC as a contract vehicle is advantageous to both the county and Precision because it allows many projects to be completed through a single contract award. This single-bid process enables Precision to develop long-term working relationships with the tri-county clients, understand how to best support them, build trust, and ultimately deliver more high-quality projects. Precision will be contracted for 1-year with each of the counties.

“We cannot be more excited to be working with local clients in locations that are occupied by our friends and family. The tri-counties is our home and it is so rewarding to be working on projects that will benefit our local communities.” Said Erik Wright, Principal at Precision Construction Services.

Work has already begun with San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties and is about to get started in Santa Barbara County. Some notable projects already under construction include the renovations at the Monterey County Courthouse and the San Luis Obispo Juvenile Hall. Precision has also started managing the stormwater pollution prevention (SWPP) at the 2.3-acre site at the Salinas Juvenile Hall. Future projects are expected to be of similar size and nature, consisting of small-medium size, multi-trade, minor construction, repair, and remodel projects.
