Precision Construction Services was awarded the construction contract for the removal and replacement of the parking lot at the Santa Maria SoCal Gas Building.

The project includes: a new parking lot and driveway entrance, new Standard Concrete Block (CMU) retaining walls and footings (with the addition of an ornamental fencing in the retaining wall with a rolling gate at the entrance), new concrete walkway, and a slurry seal and stripe parking lot. All of these improvements will take place after the removal of all existing concrete, asphalt, planter boxes, and the frontage wall.

Donnie Miller, Project Manager on the job, had this to say about continuing PCS’s relationship with SoCal Gas: “Any time you get brought back by a new client in such a quick turnaround time speaks highly of the work that we are conducting. This project is another opportunity to show what exemplary work we are capable of doing and I look forward to presenting them with the final product soon.”

This project is expected to be finished in early 2021.
