As General Contractor for The Pad Climbing, the premier climbing and fitness provider on California’s Central Coast, Precision raised the roof of an existing warehouse by 15 feet, which required an entirely new structural steel framing system, and then transformed the interior from an empty shell into a fitness complex featuring rock walls designed by Walltopia, the world’s largest climbing wall manufacturer.
The 8,000-square-foot fitness center includes a reception area, lounge and break room, locker rooms with showers, a bouldering area, a roped climbing area, cross–fit area, weight room, two yoga studios and a standalone training area on the third story mezzanine.
The project was completed on time and on budget. Walltopia was so impressed by Precision’s ability to manage the project that it now requests Precision for all its projects in North America.
