10 Apr The Land Conservancy’s Pismo Preserve Featured in PBS Docuseries
The Land Conservancy’s very own Pismo Preserve is featured in a PBS Docuseries that will air multiple times throughout April 2020. This 27-minute episode features the beautiful 11-mile trails of serene oak woodlands and coastal ridgelines with panoramic ocean views. The Pismo Preserve public trail system encompasses 880 acres of culturally sensitive land adjacent to Route 101 in Pismo Beach, California and unincorporated San Luis Obispo County.
Precision served as the Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative for the Land Conservancy’s Pismo Preserve project. The scope of work included improvements to Mattie Road and construction of visitor center facilities, parking areas, restrooms, large retaining wall systems, site utilities, bridges, paved ADA trails, and archaeological displays.
The Pismo Preserve opened its gates to the public in the fall of 2019 and has been busy every day since. For more information about the Pismo Preserve, please visit https://lcslo.org/pismopreserve/. The episode for the PBS Docuseries will air on KVIE throughout April and can also be found through the PBS app or online.
